Medical Office Assistant Program at CDI College

The Medical Office Assistant is an integral member of a health care team. Our Medical Office Assistant program provides quality instruction in four key areas: medical terminology, office administration medical transcription, and word processing to prepare you for a fast-paced career in this growing area of the health care industry.

In addition to medical training, you will be fully trained in interpersonal skills, organizational effectiveness, and communication skills necessary to function in a medical environment. After graduation, you will be qualified for entry-level work as a medical office assistant, medical receptionist, appointment scheduler or a medical records clerk in a variety of health care settings. You may also find work in physicians’ offices, medical centers, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care centers, and medical billing offices.
