An electrician is trained to work in different and dangerous environments, such as: buildings, houses, companies, electric poles, etc. Electricians are in constant danger of suffering electric shocks, falls, cuts, etc. That is why it is always obligatory to use the respective safety equipments.

Although it is a dangerous job, it is highly paid. It is calculated that the median salary of an electrician is approximately $21 per hour and about $45000 per year depending on the company that he/she works for.
